Anthony Tarr

Chief Executive Officer

In the corporate context, Dr Anthony A Tarr is presently Chief Executive Officer of ZeroGen Pty Ltd. He has served as Managing Director of an insurance company and Chairman and Director of several other companies and foundations. In addition, he was Chief Executive Officer of the Queensland Law Society, a non-profit organization, for five years.

In the academic environment, Dr Tarr has 12 years experience as a Law School Dean in which he was formerly Dean and Foundation Professor of Law at Bond University, Dean and Sir Gerard Brennan Professor of Law at The University of Queensland, and Dean and Professor of Law at Indiana University in the USA. In addition, he served as Vice Chancellor and President of the University of the South Pacific for the period 2005 - 2007.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and was Chairman of the Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Sport and Recreation Association Inc from 1996 - 2001. He has also served as a Director on the Board of the Fiji Rugby Union. He is a Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Association and a member of the International Bar Association.
