Board Member
Bruce Denney has a career spanning 30 years in the coal mining industry, employed by and providing specialist services to coal mining companies and contractors in the USA, NSW and Queensland.
Following various roles in coal technology and as a research engineer working primarily on coal quality, gasification and liquefaction, he spent three years as Engineering Manager with Arco Coal in the USA providing operational support in seven mines, project development, coal research and port development. Returning to Australia he took on the role of Managing Director of Curragh Queensland Mining, followed by senior management roles at both MIM Coal and Macarthur Coal.
As Director, Denney Resources Consulting Pty Ltd, he provides consultancy services in the areas of feasibility studies, strategic planning, coal utilisation research, project management and other coal mining related expertise.

• Master of Business Administration, University of Newcastle
