Chris Greig

Project Director

Dr Greig is an experienced professional Project Director and General Manager. His experience covers broad exposure in the industrial, mining and energy sectors working for both contractors and owners.

For the past five years, Dr Greig has provided project and general management consulting services to a variety of private and listed companies in the resource, energy and construction sectors. Clients include BHP Billiton, Ensham Resources, Western Metals Ltd, LogiCamms Ltd, Golding Contractors, Enthalpy, UniQuest and Kien Giang Peoples Committee (Vietnam).

Between 2000 to 2004, Dr Greig held the roles of Managing Director and then Executive Chairman of JJ McDonald & Sons Engineering Pty Ltd, a privately owned civil contracting, quarrying and agricultural business. This role involved the successful restructuring and turn-around of the financial performance of the company at the request of shareholders and bankers.

Prior to this whilst completing his Master of Engineering Studies, Dr Greig founded STG Group, an engineering group initially focussed on engineering consulting services and technology development. The company grew to become a leading provider of technology, equipment and turn-key delivery of process plants to the sugar industry internationally. The company also had strong references in chemical and minerals processing in Australia. STG was acquired by FCB SA, a part of the listed French engineering conglomerate Compagnie de Fives Lille in 1995. Mainly located in South-east Asia, Dr Greig stayed on with the group until 1999.
